Hey all the Resident Evil fans out there, remember Resident Evil 3: Nemesis which was realeased in the year 1999? Today we are going to review it's remake which got released on April 3rd 2020 and on multiple platforms, Microsoft Windows, PS4 and XBOX One. This remake offers a short, intense campaign that’s likely to give you equal doses of nostalgia and nightmares – and it’s now going for a steal. Unlike the original, which uses tank controls and fixed camera angles, the remake features third-person shooter gameplay similar to the 2019 Resident Evil 2 remake. In the beginning of the game, the player briefly controls Jill in the first person perspective, similar to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. This game also includes an online multiplayer mode, Resident Evil: Resistance, which puts a team of four players against a "mastermind" who can create traps, enemies, and other hazards. As far as reception of the game is concerned, Resident Evil 3 Remake received generally favorable reviews from some review websites. It is being praised for its graphics, gameplay, sound and fast paced horror. IGN scored it 9/10, Gamespot says "the game starts well but couldn't sustain well". Kotaku calling it "an intense and confidently executed Resident Evil experience." Eurogamer criticized it's short length and says "all this, the pacing, the progression, the action and the Nemesis' design, contributed to the feeling that Resident Evil 3 remake is over too soon." The Verge says " It was fun while it lasted". The Playstation 4 Version of the game sold 189,490 copies in its first week on sale in Japan and also shipped over two million copies within its first five days, around half of which were digital sales.
